If Billi is right and whatever you do for New Year's Day you will do most of the year, I am in store for a year surrounded by the people I love!  Our cajun tradition for New Year's Day is to have an Armentor Family Reunion.  It has been the high light of my young adult memories.  My Granny had 18 siblings.  Four siblings died in childbirth or early childhood.  So every New Years Day all of the Armentors come together to  celebrate the new year.   We have amazing food, great company and we pass a good time mais cher!
