On my best friend's blog she writes, "I am not a big fan of talking about myself". Well you do not have to worry about me. I love talking about myself! This will involve a lot of hand movements. I am a loving wife, an awesome mom and I rock Girls Night Out! I was a gypsy in my youth but I planted roots with my best friend Chad. We have five beautiful children we adore and embarrass. We are Cajun to the core and enjoy every insane minute together. I have wonderful friends I admire. We have family we try not to claim. I can not spell and I hate grammar. Thank you Spellcheck! If you are worried about my grammar you need to get a life! I am Cajun hear me say it MY way, mais cher!
I know there are people who consider chicken chasin' a horrible barbaric tradition. I am grateful for people who stand up for animals. My cousin is one of them. However, as a child I remember watching my granny raise chickens. I watched her catch the chicken and wring it's neck. I played around her feet while she plucked the chicken. By the way if you never experienced the smell of someone plucking a chicken count your blessings! Then she would cook the chicken. It was a fascinating process. An experience I never want to participate in. I do enjoy watching the kids chase a chicken. Well in this case they are chasing roosters. Other than being put in a sack these roosters are not mistreated. The owner of one rooster was very upset when it ran into the trees. Someone finally caught it and all was well.
