A wonderful tradition my mom's family enjoys at Easter is having the adults decorate eggs and letting the children vote on the spectacular inventions. I must warn you however, if you believe this is a sweet process, it is not! There is bribing, threatening, pleading, and about every dirty trick in the book executed lavishly by sweet cajun ladies. They truly makes Louisiana politicians look like saints! We have a wonderful time listening and wincing at their antics. Next the children are huddled in a room while around a million eggs are hidden. Next thing you know there is a stampede of children trying to find all the eggs while fine southern gentlemen try to help or hinder the kids. It is a hilarious sight. It makes great memories. Thank you Shannon for always making our Easter eventful, enjoyable, and exciting!
